This story begins at Buffalo State College with a future software engineer and a future social worker. Rushing from work as a tutor to class, Claudine was quickly introduced to the Azeem the spring semester 2020. This would be the first and last time the two would see each other in person until Fall 2021 due to Covid-19. While they both virtually tutored during shutdown, there wasn’t any interaction between the two. Upon their return to being fully in-person, the two seniors were properly introduced September 2021. After Claudine’s eavesdropping on a few of Azeem’s conversations with some coworkers, he piqued her interest. She wrote him a note suggesting they may have similar perspectives and they should talk outside of work. After the tutorial center closed, they sat at the far end of the library and talked, and talked, and talked. From their college library in October 2021 to a Delaware Park picnic and proposal in July 2025, the two have continued their never ending conversations.
