To our family and friends, In light of the current situation we have decided to postpone our wedding scheduled for June 6. We have a very tentative date of October 10, 2020 reserved, however it is still highly uncertain as to whether or not foreign travel into Spain will be permitted at that time. It is also uncertain whether many of our guests will even feel comfortable traveling internationally by October. Therefore, we are continuing to assess things one day at a time and will make further updates as things become more clear. Please check back here for future updates. To our family and friends: Given all that is happening here and around the world, sadly there is a chance we will need to postpone our wedding celebration in June. As you all know, this is a very fluid situation and it is changing on a daily basis. We are currently looking to guidance from the CDC and the Spanish Health Ministry to help us make our final decision. Our hope is to have this decision made before the end of April. In the event that we do have to postpone, we will be providing resources for everyone who has already made travel and lodging accommodations to assist with rebooking, cancellations, etc. Please continue to check back here for more information as we will be providing updates over the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience as this situation continues to unfold. These are tough decisions but at the end of the day, we have to think what’s best for everyone. We met in Madrid when neither of us were looking for romance and we haven’t stopped speaking since that very day! We had been set up basically on a blind date, unknowingly about to meet each other’s best friend. After almost a whole year of long distance, I (Claudia) moved from Madrid to Richmond with my little dog Chusco, ready to start a new and exciting life! Nos conocimos en Madrid cuando ninguno de los dos buscaba una relación romántica y desde ese momento no nos hemos dejado de hablar. Básicamente nos invitaron los dos a cenar sin conocernos, sin saber que ambos estábamos a punto de conocer a nuestro mejor amigo/a. Después de casi un año de relación a distancia, yo (Claudia) me mude de Madrid a Richmond con mi perro, Chusco, ¡listos para empezar nuestra nueva vida con muchas ganas!
