FAQs

Question

Will The Ceremony and Reception be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and the reception will be held indoors in climate-controlled venues.

Question

Is There A Dress Code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! Wedding attire for gentleman may include a blazer, dress shirt and tie, and dress pants, or a traditional suit. Wedding attire for ladies may include floor-length gowns or mid-length cocktail dresses.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive to the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm. We recommend you aim to arrive 15-30 minutes before to ensure you are able to comfortably find a seat.

Question

Will There be a Time Gap Between the Wedding Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a gap from end of ceremony to start of reception between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to get to and from the hotel to the reception/church?

Answer

While we won’t have a formal shuttle service, there is plenty of complementary parking at both St. Mary's in Canandaigua and Ravenwood Golf Club. If you prefer not to drive, rideshare services like Uber or Lyft are easily accessible in this area.

Question

Can I Bring a Plus one/Guest?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your invite. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Question

Are my Children Welcome?

Answer

We would love to have your little ones join us for our ceremony at St. Mary's! However, to allow all our guests a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that the reception remains an adults-only occasion.

Question

Will There be an Open Bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar at Ravenwood and a cash bar at the after party at the Hilton Garden Inn. Please drink responsibly and drive safely :)

Question

Can I take pictures myself at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We want to see your beautiful faces, not your devices! We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture our ceremony so that you can be fully present with us. We promise to share the professional photos with everyone afterward
