It was back in August 2020 when we both swiped right. We met for the first time at the Coronado Beach where we immediately felt a connection. It was so easy and effortless to talk to each other. Since we were in the middle of the pandemic, we went on a lot of walks and hikes during the first few months. It was great because we got to talk and to really get to know each other. We learned that we both are dedicated parents, love to travel, enjoy a simple life style, are clean and organized people, and that we both better stay away from dairy. After a few months of dating, we introduced each other to our kids and we got a thumbs-up from all of them. Encouraged by this, we kept on spending time with each other, growing together, and loving each other.
It was wonderful because he talked with Elina and Sophia first how they would feel if he asked me to marry him. The girls tried to negotiate a dowry for me and they agreed on two goats and five chickens. After Christmas Mass on 12/24/22 he lured the girls and me to Coronado Bay to take some family pictures. After that was done, David asked Elina to take a couple of pictures of the two of us. He dragged me onto the rocks, fell on his knee, pulled out a beautiful ring and popped the question. Fireworks, butterflies, angel harps...and I said YES!!
