Nos conocimos en la Universidad de la Florida (¡Go Gators!). Venimos de mundos distintos —Adriel boricua, Claudia cubana— pero fue justo esa mezcla la que nos atrajo desde el principio. Adriel no se pudo resistir a la chispa cubana, y Claudia cayó por el corazón y sazón boricua. Nuestra historia comenzó en Gainesville, floreció en Puerto Rico, y creció a la distancia mientras vivíamos en distintas ciudades: Florida, Michigan, Miami… hasta que finalmente nos reencontramos en Chicago. Aquí construimos una vida juntos: inviernos con chocolate caliente, veranos con caminatas largas, buena música, cenas ricas, y conversaciones que siempre nos hacen reír y soñar. Nos comprometimos en Puerto Rico, rodeados de nuestras personas favoritas. Por eso volvemos a esta isla —donde tanto de nuestro amor tomó forma— para celebrar el inicio de esta nueva etapa. Nos emociona compartir con ustedes un pedacito de la magia que nos unió.

We met at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). We come from different backgrounds—Adriel’s Puerto Rican, Claudia’s Cuban—but that’s exactly what pulled us to each other. He couldn’t resist the Cuban spark, and she was swept away by the Puerto Rican heart. Our story began in Gainesville, bloomed in Puerto Rico, and stretched across long-distance years — Florida, Michigan, Miami — until we finally came together in Chicago. Since then, we’ve built a life filled with long walks, cozy winters, good food, music, and conversations that always leave us smiling and dreaming. We got engaged in Puerto Rico, surrounded by our favorite people. So it only felt right to return to the place where our love grew strongest — to start this new chapter with all of you, in the island that means so much to us.
