The Wedding Website of Claudia Nelson and Spencer Barnes
We live in Huntsville, AL, about 1 hour away from the venue. A lot of these will be in Huntsville, if you don't mind the drive. I'm putting WAY too many things on this list, but I love Huntsville, so let's get carried away.

Closer to the venue. Here you can see some of what Alabama is known for: waterfalls, caves, hikes.

We went here before we started dating! Spencer does in fact comment on every sign post.

See where we got engaged! Feed the ducks and the giant koi and bass. Do the (bronze) rubber duck scavenger hunt. Take a walk downtown and find some good food or ice cream. HIGHLY recommend Poppy and Parliament, an English pub with fantastic fish and chips.

Campus No. 805Campus No. 805

2620 Clinton Avenue West, Huntsville, AL 35805

What used to be a school is now a bunch of bars and food. It still looks like a school. Classrooms have been converted into restaurants, the gym is being used as a brewery, and there's a speakeasy behind a set of lockers. One notable classroom has axe throwing!

A beautiful, walkable garden. They are open during the day, and sometimes have night walks. In the spring they'll do night blooms, I'll have to check closer to the day to see when they open next year.
