We're getting married!

We met in highschool during our junior year, although we didn't start dating until we were seniors. He was on the high school track team and she had said she wanted to get into jogging, so they went for runs together after school. Turns out Claudia hates running and they ended up talking more than jogging on these 'runs'. They bonded over their shared love of her dog, Reese, who she brought along every time they went for a jog. This started a friendship that lead to our first real date in late September.

Claudia planned our first date and wanted to go on her favorite haunted hayride. It was opening that weekend, since it was the first weekend of October but she failed to check the date. The hayride was opening on Sunday, October 1st and the date was planned for Saturday, the 30th of September! At the last minute we decided to just go for ice cream instead and it was the first of many, many ice cream dates since. Fun fact, we're getting married on our 6 year dating anniversary, Sept. 30, 2023!

Our first kiss was at a New Year's Eve party after we'd already been going on a few casual dates for a while. When the clock struck 12, everyone was celebrating and we shared our first kiss.
