Chapter 1: One might say it was fate. We started a new job on the same start date holding the same exact position for the same company. Four months of friendship later, thousands of laughs shared, and an adventurously fun date at Christkindlmarket, we thought, "Okay. This could be something." The rest, they say, is history.

Chapter 2: John convinced Claudia to a celebratory dirty martini birthday drink at Erie Cafe (best in the city!). He further convinced her to follow him to the back of the restaurant because "there was a cool bar back there." Once they reached the back room, their families and friends cheered, "Surprise!" The real surprise came after. Claudia initially thought it was a surprise birthday party. Yet with a crowd, John got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Claudia said yes and immediately began to cry. A few minutes later upon remembering, John went to Claudia and opened up his dress shirt to show her his t-shirt. It read "Claudia, I love you. Will you marry me?"
