When should I RSVP?

As soon as possible, thanks! RSVP online or just let one of us know your plans. We're looking forward to seeing you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest getting to the farm around 4pm on Sunday. The ceremony begins at 5pm. Photos start at 3:30pm.

Where should I stay?

There are many hotels with full amenities to choose from in Charlottesville, which is a 25 minute drive from our farm. There are also a few options in Scottsville, within 10-15 minutes of our farm including: The James River Inn, Chester Bed & Breakfast & the Woodville Bed & Breakfast. There are also options closer to us on Airbnb - we would be happy to help you pick a good option. You are also welcome to camp on the farm - there are many nice sites to set up a tent on our 65 acres. Let us know if you would like recommendations or if you have any questions!

What should I wear?

Answer

On Sunday wear whatever you fancy from dressy casual to farm semi-formal. Feel free to wear a nice dress or suit on Sunday to be festive! Jim is wearing a navy suit and Claudia is wearing a white dress. Remember the event is on our farm and outdoors: there will be grass, there may be dirt or mud and it may get chilly in the evening. Dinner and the farm activities on Saturday are casual.
