What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. Think suits, dressy separates, or elegant dresses. Please dress warmly, we’re in Syracuse in January! Our wedding palette is wine, burgundy, forest green, and warm browns; feel free to coordinate. Any and all colors are also welcome!

Please RSVP by November 2nd, 2025, so we can finalize numbers with our vendors.

How far is the church from the reception venue?

The church is about a 7-minute drive from both the reception venue and the hotel (if you choose to stay there).

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a hotel block at a favorable rate for guests. At the Marriott Syracuse Downtown.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), about 15 minutes from downtown and most hotels.

Will there be parking at the church and reception?

Answer

Free parking is available at the church (ceremony). Please note that there is a parking fee at the reception venue, including an overnight parking charge. For reception: On-Site Parking: Hourly: $7.00; Daily: $19.00 Valet: Daily: $27.00 Valet is located at the main hotel entrance on E Onondaga St. Self parking is located behind the hotel on Harrison Place

How cold will it be in Syracuse around January 3rd?

Answer

January in Syracuse is typically quite cold, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-20s to low 30s °F (around –4 to 0 °C). We recommend dressing in warm layers. Most of the celebration will take place indoors, so you’ll have a chance to warm up and relax.
