FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not listed, please reach out to us!
Question

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

There will not be provided transportation to the venue. There are parking garages throughout the area but we urge you not to drive if you will be joining us for drinks. The hotels we have selected are either a very short walk or an even shorter uber ride to the venue.

Question

Are young children invited?

Answer

We LOVE your children and because of that, we want them to be safe! The Foundry has multiple metal staircases and a hanging second-floor metal mezzanine that little arms and legs can easily slip through. The Foundry has a very strict supervision rule for children. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your time with us, so kids that need supervision will not be able to attend. We hope you understand & look forward to an afternoon off! Our wedding planner suggests a babysitter for the hotel room from the link below: https://www.babysittersguild.com

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because we are very lucky, we have a LOT of family and friends that we look forward to sharing this day with. The large number of people we care for make up our maximum capacity for our intimate venue. As RSVPs come in, we will be able to let you know if we can provide you with the option for a guest who is not listed on your invitation already.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors in the main hall, the cocktail hour will be held indoors in the adjacent greenhouse room & the party will be mainly outdoors with the option to filter back in and out of the main hall and greenhouse. Please dress comfortably for dancing in the warm weather.

Question

Can I take and post photos of the ceremony on social media?

Answer

Like most couples, we have decided to do an unplugged ceremony. We have hired an amazing photography & videography team. We are more than happy to share photos and video once we receive them back. Let us know via text or email after the event if you would like to relive the moment! The reception, however, is fair game! We just ask that you use the tag #Arigetshisrose or that you email/text photos to us so we can look back on the day through your eyes!

Question

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer

When sharing photos of the reception, please use the hashtag #Arigetshisrose so that we can browse the photos you upload to help ease our post-wedding blues!

Question

What kind of food and drink will be served at the reception?

Answer

Our event will be a cocktail-style brunch. There will not be a traditional sit-down meal but we will have plenty of delicious things for you to munch on throughout the afternoon. There will be multiple stations to keep you satiated. So grab a plate & a seat or set yourself up at a floating table and then run on back to the dance floor! The event will be pescatarian style - so only fish, eggs, and dairy - no meat. There will be vegetarian options along with vegan options. We can't forget to mention our mimosa station and full open bar! We hope you will come with the mindset of our favorite summer weekend activity - bottomless brunch! Keep the mimosas flowing and bust out your best dance moves!

Question

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Once the reception is over, if you are not ready to go back to your rooms and would like to continue the party, we will be meeting everyone up on the terrace of the venue while the crew cleans up downstairs. We are cleared to stay with any leftover beverages until the staff is leaving the venue. We anticipate a timeframe of 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Question

What health and safety measures will be taken for the event?

Answer

Our guest list is almost 100% fully vaccinated. The small percent who are not able to be vaccinated for the event will be getting a negative test result before arrival. If wearing a mask makes you feel more comfortable, please feel free to do so.

Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 29th at the absolute latest here on our website under the RSVP tab. The sooner the response, the better!
