FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we have listed here, please reach out to our wedding planner, Brooke, at 785-259-7180
Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM, we recommend you aim to arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony to park and take your seat.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is semi-formal attire. Please no jeans, denim, or white.

Question

What is considered semi-formal attire?

Answer

Ladies: Dresses, jumpsuits, or skirts -- feel free to pair with flats or block-heeled shoes suitable for grass and uneven terrain. Gentlemen: Suits, dress pants, and button-up shirts; ties and jackets are encouraged but optional. Layers are recommended as mountain weather can be unpredictable. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident -- We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a theme I should match?

Answer

Think mountain-elegant: soft neutrals, rich browns, nature-inspired greens, and subtle gold.

Question

Can I bring a guest/+1s not listed on the inviation?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your other guest/s.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your kids but thought you could enjoy a getaway to yourselves for this adult-only Ceremony & Reception. The only children that will be attending are those of our closest relatives.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be performed outside, weather permitting, while the reception will take place indoors.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged Ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. Before and after the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, two signature drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us. We do ask that you bring your government issued I.D. with you as it will be checked before you may receive any alcoholic beverages. We also encourage you to drink responsibly as no cars are allowed to be left overnight at the venue and we want our loved ones to get home safely!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request you to RSVP no later than August 15th, 2026

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be greatly missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we may plan accordingly.
