It's happening!

We have made the decision to postpone our wedding celebrations for the health and safety of all of our guests and vendors. We have been so excited as we prepared to celebrate in November with all of you. We've been grateful for the excitement many of you have shared with us leading up to our planned celebrations. We will be having a small ceremony this year and officially become Mr. & Mrs. Stark! We are planning to celebrate our marriage on November 6, 2021 and we hope you all will be able to join us then. We are so thankful and grateful for all of your love and support of our relationship and this milestone. We cannot wait to see and celebrate with you all in November 2021. In the fall of 2011 our two close friends, Alicia and Anthony, had recently started dating. Anthony and Jeff were roommates at the time and one night, Alicia, Anthony, and Jeff all went out for dinner and a drink at Tremont Tap House. Jeff suggested Alicia get the grilled cheese and casually mentioned he was a vegetarian. Later in the evening, Jeff told Alicia and Anthony he was going home to read a book a bit before bed. The next day Alicia told Natalie about the vegetarian who went home early to read knowing the two would have a lot in common. A few months later in November of 2011, Natalie came to visit Cleveland from Columbus where she was living at the time to visit Alicia. Alicia and Anthony planned a night in Tremont so Jeff and Natalie could meet. Just as Alicia and Anthony suspected, Jeff and Natalie hit it off and began dating long distance soon after.

Six years after we started dating, we met up with our forever New Years crew in Scottsdale, AZ. New Years has a special meaning for us since we recognize it as our anniversary. With a trip away for New Years, there was speculation from friends that we'd get engaged over the holiday. Natalie was hopeful it might happen but truly didn't think it would since she and Jeff hadn't talked about engagement in a while and hadn't even discussed rings. Natalie had no idea that a few months prior to the New Years trip, Jeff had made a trip to Canton to visit Gassars Jewelers. Gassars had been the jeweler where Natalie's parents had bought special pieces of jewelry for years and would soon be closing for good. Jeff went in and bought the engagement ring without Natalie ever suspecting a thing. Jeff proposed at midnight, taking Natalie by surprise.
