Griffith Observatory - great views of downtown Los Angeles
Highland Park Bowl - Not your average bowling alley; built in 1927, it gives a nod to prohibition with decor, craft cocktails and amazing pizza. Would suggest reserving to bowl with large groups, but also a great place for dinner and drinks!
Arts District Brewery - huge brewery near downtown Los Angeles with a full bar, arcade and yard games, and occasionally axe throwing on their patio. Lots of great food and food trucks close by
Homestate - Amazing tacos with lots of vegetarian options. Award winning four tortillas and a stiff frozen margarita :)
In N Out - a close second to Seattle's Dick's Burgers, maybe you've heard of it?
