Logan and I met in May of 2020. We were freshly 16 and 17 and we began talking through Snapchat. Before you roll your eyes, bare with me. A few days later, we met in person in the parking lot at Goco's. (IYKYK) I brought along my friend Saige to be safe. (stranger danger) We spent the night driving around town because that's what you do in Gilbertown. We spent that evening asking all of the cliche 'what's your favorite type of music' questions. That night on his drive back home, he called me and asked on a date. THE NEXT DAY. We ended up going out to Mexican after church and did some illegal fishing at a pond. The only thing caught that day was feelings ;) He asked me to be his girlfriend about a week later on June 5, 2020. Almost five years later, he proposed to me on May 10, 2025 in front of our friends and family. (finally!) All jokes aside, he could not have planned it any better. It was one of the best moments of my life. Throughout our relationship, we've had so many things come our way. Long distance, relatives passing, and just life in general. Through it all, the Lord brought us through and we give all the glory to Him! We can't wait to start this new chapter in our lives. There isn't anyone else I would want to do life with.
