Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal. We invite you to dress to the nines and celebrate with us! Please wear long evening gowns, suits with ties, polished separates, or equivalent elegant attire. Ladies, please do not wear any shades of white or cream. Gentlemen, please no shorts, jeans, or hats. We are respectfully requesting all guests to avoid emerald green as that is reserved for the wedding party. Please refer to the “Dress Code Inspiration” page for further guidelines for the type of attire that is appropriate for this event.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to get settled in. For our friends and family from out of town, please be aware that traffic in St. Augustine on weekends can be heavy and plan to allow yourself plenty of time to get to the venue.

Where should I park?

The venue offers complimentary parking on site.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors with a fabulous view of the Matanzas River and the lighthouse in the distance, we are so excited for you to see it! The outdoor ceremony space is fully paved, so any footwear should be fine but please do be aware there are stairs at the entrance to the venue and the exit toward the ceremony space.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you hold off on photos and videos during the ceremony so our photographer can capture these special moments unobstructed. Feel free to bust out the cameras throughout the remainder of the evening, we will have a QR code upload available for everyone to share their snapshots!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

On our RSVP page we have included a space for all guests to inform us of any allergies/dietary restrictions so that we can pass these along to our caterer. We will make sure everyone has something delicious to eat on the big day :)

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We truly appreciate all of our guests who have inquired about this and are humbled by all of your generosity. In lieu of a registry we have a cash fund to help kick off married life on the right foot. You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We've secured room blocks at two convenient hotels in the historic district: the Doubletree by Hilton and the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront. You'll find booking links and exclusive discount codes on our wedding website's "Travel" page, along with additional hotel recommendations to help you plan your stay.

Are the ceremony and reception areas wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is an accessible ramp to the fully paved outdoor ceremony area and at the entrance to the venue itself. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
