Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside on the River Front Lawn. Cocktail hour and the reception will be outside on the Alpine Terrace. Please dress accordingly - we expect temperatures in the high 60's during the day that will cool off a bit at night.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Once you're here, transportation for our events will not be needed. Everything is conveniently just a short walk away! It is a 5 minute walk to/from The Wildcat Inn & Tavern where the Rehearsal Dinner will be hosted. On our wedding day, all guests will be staying on property at The Wentworth where our ceremony and reception will be held.

The wedding is on a Monday, what's the plan for the weekend before?

We welcome you to explore the Jackson, New Hampshire area before the festivities start on Sunday evening. Check out our Things to Do tab for our local recommendations, favorite watering holes and hiking trails.

What should I wear?

Answer

For our rehearsal dinner and welcome party, go for dressy casual. We’ll be at a local tavern, so nice jeans or slacks with a button-down, a casual dress, or anything that fits the cozy, rustic vibe. Layers are always a good idea! For the wedding, we’re asking for semi-formal attire. Since we’ll be celebrating in peak foliage season, we recommend rich autumn colors, cozy fabrics (like wool, tweed, or velvet), and layers to keep warm as the temp may drop in the evening.

I only see one hotel recommended, are there other options?

Answer

We’d love for all of our guests to stay at The Wentworth because it’s where our wedding ceremony and reception will be held. Having everyone in one place makes it easier for you to enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics and it means we get to spend more time with you! That said, we completely understand that everyone has different budgets. If you're looking for a more affordable option, The Wildcat Inn & Tavern should have availability and is just a 5-minute walk away.
