Where He Asked! Sands Point Preserve is a 216-acre park and home to many historic mansions on Long Island's Gold Coast with great views of the Long Island Sound. The Sands Point peninsula is better known as the famed “East Egg” in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.” Brian and Megan love to come here to for some beautiful "beach" walks and hikes!
Also known as "The Miracle Mile" referenced in Billy Joel's "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me," Americana is a high-end, open-air shopping mall. It is also home to two of Brian and Megan's favorite restaurants, Toku (Modern Asian) and Cippolini (casual Italian trattoria). Fun Fact: Cippolini is where Megan's parents met Brian for the first time.
Long Island is home to many golf courses. Fun Fact: The reception's main room provides views of the first hole of Bethpage State Park's famous "Black Course," which has previously hosted two U.S. Opens, one PGA Championship and will be hosting the Ryder Cup in September 2025! If you are interested in playing at Bethpage, the chances of getting on the Black Course are very slim due to its popularity. Fortunately, Bethpage State Park contains four other courses of varying difficulty - check out their website for tee times. Please note that this course is about a 25-minute drive from the hotel. If you are looking for something closer to the hotel, Harbor Links Golf Course is just down the road.
