What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Tropical Chic Dress up, but be mindful of the heat! Suit jacket not required. Wear something colorful and fun. Dress to impress (Jimmy Buffet.) Note on footwear: The wedding is fully outdoors and on grass, cobblestone, and mulch. We recommend flats and footwear that can handle rocky surfaces.

Do I need a car?

Answer

No! Not at all. In fact, parking is a little difficult in Key West.

How do I get around Key West?

Answer

If you are staying in Old Town Key West, you can get around by foot, bike, scooter, or golf cart. There's also a free hop-on hop-off (HOHO) bus: https://www.cityofkeywest-fl.gov/326/Duval-Loop If you're staying in one of the resorts further from town, it will have a shuttle that runs to Old Town frequently. Taxis and ridesharing are also an option.

The bride and groom will definitely be in Key West Thursday 4/20 through Sunday 4/23.

I'm allergic to cats, will that be a problem?

Answer

Our wedding is taking place at the Hemingway Home Museum, home to 60 cats, but the ceremony and reception are taking place fully outside. You'll see a couple of cats but the venue assured us they've never had an issue with anyone's allergies at a wedding. Ryan is allergic to cats, FYI, and he was fine!
