FAQs

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We want to see the people we love dressed to impress! We ask our guests to please wear formal attire. Ladies - midi to floor length dresses will look great Men - suit or sports jacket, suit pants, and tie or bowtie is requested

Question

What type of ceremony are you having?

Answer

Our wedding will be a Catholic mass that celebrates the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony. Masses are traditionally around an hour in length. For younger individuals who are not able to partake in the solemnity of the mass for the entire duration, there is a cry room located at the back of the church where you'll still be able to see, hear, and be a part of our wedding ceremony.

Question

Are my children invited? Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we love all the children in our lives and would love to meet your loved ones, we are most excited to spend a day fully present with those who know and love us most! This means only those specifically listed on your invitation and RSVP are invited. Please take the night off and get ready to party on the dance floor with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding will begin at 4pm, meaning we need all guests sat and ready prior for us to walk down the aisle and the mass to begin. Please aim to arrive between 3:30-3:50pm.

Question

Can I take pictures at your wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to have wonderful photos of the best day of our lives which is why we've hired a fantastic photographer! Out of respect for the solemnity of our wedding mass, we ask that no photos be taken during our wedding ceremony and phones remain put away. At the cocktail hour and reception, please feel free to take some pictures, but also remember to stay in the moment with us!

Question

Will your wedding be inside?

Answer

If you have never been to Florida at the end of May...it's hot! Our wedding mass and the reception will DEFINITELY be indoors, and the cocktail hour will primarily be outside. Marywood is a beautiful venue with tons of natural shade to help the temperatures cool. Feel free to explore the property during the reception as well!

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, we’re happy to provide drinks for the night! Please drink responsibly, and for those staying at the venue, be prepared for the short walk back to your villa. All others, we ask you to kindly have a designated driver or uber/lyft available :)
