FAQs

Question

Is There A Dress Code?

Answer

We want all guests in shades of Nude. Put on your best tans, creams, and browns, of all shades. Although we are on an island, please be mindful of your attire. This is still a formal celebration, not a beach day. Please leave the flip-flops, jean shorts, super-short dresses, and casual wear for a different day. No need for black tie, but we do ask that you dress like you know you’re attending a wedding (and have excellent judgment). If you think it's too light, you're probably right!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be an intimate celebration with a set guest list by invitation only. While only invited guests may attend the wedding events, the destination trip itself is open to extended family and friends who wish to join and celebrate alongside us during the week.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES. St. Maarten is an international island. A passport is required to travel from the U.S. If you do not have one already, please get one ASAP.

Question

what should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our sequel destination wedding please let us know as soon as possible. Please keep in mind if you already made a deposit on your room, but find that you can not make it, your desposit will not be reimbursed.

Question

will the wedding events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will occur outside. We will be on a beautiful island, and want to ensure we can enjoy every bit of it. If the skies have other plans we will move all events indoors. BUT not to worry we won't be on any sand or grass!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift to us. We know traveling is a big commitment, and we’re so grateful to celebrate with you. If your heart (and budget) desire, a monetary contribution toward our wedding events and travel is sincerely appreciated, but never expected.
