They met one day in youth group at church on Wednesday evening. They couldn't have been more different, one with his nose stuck in his bible that he had read a million times, and one floating around the room chatting with the other kids. When she saw him in the corner by himself, she thought he could use a friend. So of course, she strutted over and sat herself directly next to him and said hello. This was the exact opposite of what he wanted, but he put his bible away and said hi back. Just like that they became friends, and they stayed friends for many years, then it all started changing. The more they talked, the closer they became, realizing that there might be something there. They both may need glasses, but they aren't blind. They could no longer deny their feelings and decided to give it a shot. Now, two and a half years later, Zachary and Clarissa are tying the knot.
