We have a variety of lodging options available, including small room blocks at a few local hotels (see the Travel tab for more details). Because Memorial Day weekend is a popular time in Lake George, we recommend booking accommodations as early as possible to ensure availability.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will appear on your invitation and under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
You're way ahead of the game! The RSVP deadline will be included in your invitation.
The wedding dress code is black tie optional. This means you can wear a tux, evening gown, formal suit, or formal long dress (color encouraged, but no white/cream dresses, please). Note: The bridesmaids are wearing light blue! The welcome party dress code is outdoor cocktail. For women, this could entail a long or short cocktail dress paired with a sweater, wrap, or shawl. For men, attire can range from slacks and a button-down shirt to a suit. Note: This event is indoors, with the option to go outside if desired!
Late May in Lake George is usually mild and beautiful, with daytime temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to mid-60s °F. Evenings and mornings can be chilly, so we recommend bringing a sweater or layers. The lake is stunning this time of year, though still a bit cold for swimming. We can't wait to celebrate with you—rain or shine!
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside (bring a pashmina or light jacket!). The reception will take place indoors.
