On October 26, 2019… Leo and I were both at the fraternity’s during a Fresno State football game. Going to any normal college party, I had no interest in any guy who had anything to do with a frat, and unfortunately that included Leo. He approached me by the enterance door and started conversation that concluded with wanting my number. I respectfully declined but told him he could have my instagram. Since that moment, we have been following each other's instagram and never truly crossed paths again. In 2024, I noticed that Leo had been liking more of my stories, commenting on my stories, and texting me. I would respond here and there, but never consistently. Until, one day Leonardo posted his family pictures and a picture with his nephew Jax (a very handsome dashund pup). Two things I can not resist, a family man and a cute dog. All I did was like his post and his story and suddenly, on November 27, 2024, he messaged me saying how I could be liking his posts but not let him take me on a date. Since that message, we had been texting one another until I finally agreed to a date on Saturday, December 14, 2024. On this dinner date that continued to Christmas Tree Lane, I knew that Leo had a good head on his shoulders, good morals, loved God, loved his family, driven, funny, and wanted a relationship that would lead to marriage. Since that Saturday, we have been inseparable, we have fallen so deeply in love, we have laughed, we have cried, we have gained new family, and we have spent countless hours together. Here is to many more hours that lead to forever.

El 26 de octubre de 2019… Leo y yo estábamos en la fraternidad durante un partido de fútbol americano de Fresno State. Como era de esperar en una fiesta universitaria normal, no me interesaba ningún chico relacionado con una fraternidad, y por desgracia, Leo tampoco. Se me acercó por la puerta y empezó una conversación que terminó pidiéndome mi número. Respetuosamente, me negué, pero le dije que podía tener mi Instagram. Desde entonces, nos seguimos mutuamente en Instagram y nunca volvimos a cruzarnos. En 2024, noté que Leo le daba más "me gusta" a mis historias, las comentaba y me escribía. Le respondía de vez en cuando, pero nunca de forma constante. Hasta que un día, Leonardo publicó fotos de su familia y una con su sobrino Jax (un cachorro de perro salchicha muy guapo). Dos cosas a las que no puedo resistirme: un hombre de familia y un perro adorable. Solo le di "me gusta" a su publicación y a su historia, y de repente, el 27 de noviembre de 2024, me envió un mensaje diciendo que podía darle "me gusta" a sus publicaciones, pero no dejar que me invitara a una cita. Desde entonces, nos escribimos hasta que finalmente acepté una cita el sábado 14 de diciembre de 2024. En esta cena que continuó en Christmas Tree Lane, supe que Leo era sensato, de buenos principios, amaba a Dios, amaba a su familia, era ambicioso, divertido y quería una relación que llevara al matrimonio. Desde ese sábado, hemos sido inseparables, nos hemos enamorado profundamente, hemos reído, hemos llorado, y hemos pasado incontables horas juntos. ¡Por muchas más horas que nos lleven a la eternidad!
