It was a Sunday morning, one of Clarissa’s first days attending my church. Occasionally during service, our pastor would ask everyone to greet someone nearby or give a high five to a new guest. That morning, Clarissa happened to be sitting in front of me. When the pastor invited us to greet one another, she turned around and we looked at each other. We both gave a shy wave, smiling nervously before she quickly turned back to face the pastor. That moment may have seemed small, but it was how the Lord brought us together.
