Eric and Claire met through mutual friends who are in their wedding party. Braden Shea (Groomsmen) was Eric's roommate at the time. Lily Gador (Bridesmaid) is Claire's friend since she graduated high school. Lily asked Claire to go to a hockey party in Dryden, Ontario where the boys lived. Of course, Claire said yes.

On April 30th, Eric commented on Claire's instagram picture then asked for her snapchat right after. They were constantly texting, snapping, calling, and seeing each other soon after that. Eric and Claire talked for about two months before Eric asked her to be his girlfriend.

Eric came all the way from Brainerd to Moorhead to take Claire on a date to the Tavern Grill. They got the most beautiful spot outside with a campfire and lights all over. It was the most perfect date Claire has ever been on. After they finished eating, Eric looked Claire into her eyes then asked her to be his girlfriend. Eric put so much effort into dating Claire by making sure she's the happiest he can make her and traveling back and forth from Brainerd to see her as much as he could.

Eric moved to Moorhead to be with Claire as she was finishing her degree at MSUM. It all started in apartment 305 where they fell in love. Claire - Coming home to Eric after a long day of work or school was one of my favorite feelings I knew I was safe. He became my best friend so fast and I knew I couldn't do life without him. He moved in with me a month after dating which was something we decided together but that's where our relationship grew and grew. We learned so much about each other in that tiny apartment. After about a year of living together we decided to get our first dog together, Trappy. We raised Trappy in 305 just like where we fell in love. We lived in 305 for about two years when we moved out we both got teary eyed because that's where it all started apartment 305.

We decided to upgrade to a townhome so Trappy could have more space and a yard to run around in. A week of living in the townhome Eric and I decided to get another dog, Smoke. We raised Smoke in the townhome with Trappy watching them become best friends was one of our favorite memories of the townhome. We did almost everything for Trappy and Smoke to have the best life while living there. Our favorite was to go on walks to the park then play in the baseball fields after our walk. We loved going out to different restaurants in Moorhead together and making them "our" spots. We had a pizza, nacho, sandwich and burger spot we loved to go to together. We loved our townhome memories and watching the dogs grow up together.

Today was the day I was graduating college nothing more exciting than finally being done with school. I was extremely excited to be able to celebrate this moment with my side of the family and Eric's. The most important people were there to celebrate my graduation I've never felt so thankful. I booked a room in a restaurant where we could all celebrate. Once everyone arrived my dad started a speech to thank everyone who showed up to celebrate my graduation. After my dad said, "Eric has something he would like to say also." Then he gets on one knee and proposes. I was in complete shock and have never been so happy in my life. It was the best night celebrating with the most important people in both of our lives. PS (good job Eric)
