Gathering Place
We went on one of our first dates here. This massive park in the heart of historic Tulsa is a must see. Our favorites spots are the Boathouse and Wetland Gardens.
The Pioneer Woman Mercantile
Just 35 minutes up the road in Pawhuska. A fun shop, restaurant, and bakery for breakfast or lunch. Owned by the Pioneer Woman, made famous by her show on the Food Network.
Philbrook Museum
Beautiful, massive gardens here! Also good art.
Downtown Tulsa
18 minutes from the venue and is home to the Tulsa Drillers. Heading to the stadium for baseball and fireworks makes for a fun evening. The BOK Event Center hosts events with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry while Cain’s Ballroom has been bringing some of the best live bands in the world to Tulsa since 1924. There are plenty of unique restaurants and coffee shops with delicious food and great atmospheres to stop at while you are in the area. Clarissa's favorite new attraction is the house from The Outsiders movie featuring Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise, and Diane Lane was turned into a museum by a die hard fan.
