Dillon is from Gilroy and I was living in Napa. We both were on dating apps as it was post covid and seemed like the only way to meet anyone. Neither of us realized how far our radius' were set, so I was in for a surprise when I realized how far away Gilroy was. We bonded over our love of beer and I showed him what "Froze" was while we wondered around downtown Napa on our first date. We quickly learned how similar we were in many ways and have been inseparable ever since. We went to a Giants baseball game on April 24, 2021, where we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. Before we knew it we were spending every weekend adventuring together. In the years, we have snowboarded many mountains, gone to several concerts, traveled, and have enjoyed all the big and little moments. We commute dated for over a year then moved in together in 2022. We now own our first home and live with our two dogs. In 2024, I was expecting to celebrate my 30th birthday, but little did I know, our engagement as well. Surrounded by Dillon's and my family, he asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. It is crazy to think such an amazing love story could stem from just liking another persons picture on an app. We are so happy to share our story with everyone and can't wait to celebrate the big day!
