The last 12 months have been an absolute mess. Coronavirus came, completely changed our lives and everyone's idea of what 2020 would be. We had originally planned on getting married in the summer. We were only weeks away from making our final payment on the venue, when everything shut down and our plans went out the window. While we couldn't have the family-filled wedding we had hoped for, we still wanted to have one good memory from what was probably one of the worst years ever. We decided to go ahead with exchanging our vows and will plan our celebration for the future. We wanted to have some fun with our "document signing ceremony" and got married on Halloween, dressed as Barbara and Adam Maitland from Beetlejuice. We want to thank our Oregon family for helping us become husband and wife. Thank you to Will, for getting ordained at the last minute and officiating for us. All we needed was the bare minimum to make our documents legit, but he wrote a very heartfelt ceremony that brought us to tears. Thank you to Raquel and Maria, for helping us have such a cute pandemic wedding in the living room. The decorations, flowers, our altar, and that last minute charcuterie board breakfast were amazing. Even though our original plans bit the dust, we were still able to have a really good time making our love official.
