We will be situated on Leisure Isle island where this bed & breakfast is located. It boasts with stunning views of the Heads and the Knysna lagoon. It is a lovely island to stay on if your looking for amazing views, and a memorable walk around the island checking out the views and homes (One of our favorite things to do).

Knysna is a vacation/tourist town so there is a huge variety of accommodation to suit everyones budget and lifestyle! The best areas we recommend to stay are.. -Leisure Isle - we will be staying here and enjoying a braai (bbq) most nights so stay on this island if you want to hang out with us and not worry about drinking and driving! -Thesen Island - this is a beautiful private estate walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and the waterfront. - The Heads - just further on from Leisure Isle, the accommodation here is up the mountain head so the views are spectacular! -Brenton on Sea - this area is on the other side of the mountain from Knysna but it is closer to our venue if you are only coming to the wedding day. Knysna is a beautiful town so make your stay worthwhile and book a place close to the water or up a hill to enjoy the views.

Closest Airport - GRJ George, Western Cape

There are daily flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town to George with Kulula, Mango & South African Airways. Knysna is about 45mins-1hr drive from the airport. You will need to rent a car and take your time as it is one of the most scenic drives in South Africa. The drive is part of the Garden Route so make sure you stop at a few look out spots to snap some photos or to grab some souvenirs.

You will definitely need a car to get to and around Knysna. There are vast things to explore in Knysna and the surrounding towns so go wild and see as much as you can! Just remember not to leave any valuables exposed in the car. Park where there is a parking warden wearing a vest and always give them a little tip (R5-R10) when returning to your car.
