Freshman year of high school our friend group formed and we couldn't be happier to still call this group of people our best friends. Andrew and I spoke few words to each other until Sophomore year when he posted a song on his Facebook page called Days & Days by Camera Can't Lie from a Minneapolis based band. I clicked on the link and fell in love with the song immediately, listening to it non-stop for a few days! I wanted to let him know how much I loved it so I commented on his Facebook post. That night, Andrew chatted me and sparked a conversation about it where we then stayed up until 3am on a school night talking and haven't stopped since! Can you guess what will be our first dance song? :)

The first summer we spent together we hiked up to a place in Eden Prairie we call the look out where a big eagle nest post sits. We carved A+B into the bottom of the pole and it became our special spot. Over the next few years, we made it a tradition that every summer we would return to our spot and add a tally mark to count our summers we have spent together. Little did we know we would now be doing this for the rest of our lives! At the end of last summer, we went up to make the tally for 11 years and had plans to go to a winery after. Once we got to the top, he got down on one knee, and I said the easiest YES of my life! With our best friends hiding in the trees to capture the moment, it could not have been more perfect.
