The Grotto is a 62-acre sanctuary located that is home to an internationally-renowned Catholic shrine and botanical garden. It was founded in 1924 by Servite Fr. Ambrose Mayer. It offers visitors beautiful gardens, views, and space for reflection.
This $8 round trip sky tram offers some of the best views of Portland and the surrounding area. The tram travels from the South Waterfront (where Clarice and Greg live) to OHSU (where Clarice works). The South Waterfront is the perfect area for a peaceful walk on the Willamette River. Please note, the tram is closed on Sundays and holidays.
