Sometimes, love finds you in the most unexpected ways. For us, it all began with an impromptu adventure. Clarenz was invited by a mutual friend for a drive—without knowing exactly where they were headed. True to his spontaneous spirit, he said, "Sure, let's go!" At first, we were both shy, quietly sharing the same space without saying much. It wasn't until they were on their way back to LA that Clarenz leaned over to our friend and asked about me. From that moment, something sparked. He wanted to know me, and soon after, we exchanged numbers. What started as a few messages turned into endless conversations, and before we knew it, we were seeing each other more often. Clarenz, being the incredibly thoughtful person he is, would drive all the way from LA to Bakersfield just to see me—sometimes straight after work. I didn’t even realize he was working at the time, thinking he was in school like me. Those early days were filled with little secrets. I remember telling my mom I was "hanging out with the girls" when I was really spending time with him. But I think she knew all along. As time went on, we became inseparable. From spontaneous road trips to quiet moments together, we’ve shared six incredible years, filled with love, laughter, and growth. And now, here we are—on the brink of forever—ready to spend the rest of our lives together.
