The wedding ceremony & reception will be completely outside. We anticipate that everyone will be fully vaccinated, if you are not, please wear a mask during all activities. Other activities such as the welcome reception and tea will be indoors, but staff will be vaccinated/masked per our request. There will be outdoor access at the welcome reception as well. The vaccination rate in New Orleans is higher than Louisiana, and as of August 2021, is close to 77.6% among adults. There are also plenty of amazing outdoor restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and the weather in late October is usually really pleasant.
Yes, we love kids and if you want them there, so do we! We’ll leave it up to you!
Yes, there is a lot on the opposite side of the street about a half block towards Carrollton. Uber/Lyft is inexpensive and very prevalent as well.
Cocktail attire is fine! If you want to dress fancier be our guest! Keep in mind we will be having a second line in the street following the ceremony. This mostly is something to consider when choosing footwear.
Please let us know ASAP if you have a food allergy or dietary restriction. We will have a wide spread of food so hopefully can accommodate most people but just give us a heads up and we’ll do what we can!
We have a block of rooms at The Bienville House Hotel. There are many great hotels, B&Bs and Airbnbs but October is a very popular time to travel to New Orleans so we recommend booking accommodations earlier than later.
If your invitation says “plus guest” you are welcome to!
We’d prefer our guests remain unplugged once the ceremony starts.
