Please click on the "RSVP" link at the top of the page. ONLY enter your first and last name (i.e. no "Ms." or "Mr.", etc.) Please note: If your invitation names a guest, they will be included in your RSVP. i.e. Jane Doe. (Note that the RSVP portion of the website will not be visible until formal invitations are sent out.)
We respectfully ask that you only include those that are addressed on your invitation. If you have a plus one/guest we will make sure to specify! If you are not sure, when you RSVP on the website, you will see your party and who is included.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event, with the exception of our immediate family. If you need help finding a babysitter, please let us know! Also, we will have a pumping room available for anyone who might need it.
The Quad City International Airport is about 20-25 minutes away from the venue, but there are hotels near there if it's easier for you to stay closer to the airport! The Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn and Suites will be your best bet.
The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal: suits and cocktail dresses are perfect! To be honest, if you are comfortable we are happy!
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at Hotel Blackhawk.
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. We kindly ask guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to find a seat.
Parking at the Hotel Blackhawk lot is included for hotel guests that can be accessed from E Third Street. If you are staying at the DoubleTree or another location, please park in the Parking Ramp across 3rd street from the Hotel Blackhawk. Once parked in the ramp, simply take the elevator to level 2 and the hotel is connected via skywalk so there is no need to even go outside!
Spring in the Quad Cities is a mixed bag with the average temperature for a typical day ranges from a high of 62°F (17°C) to a low of 39°F (4°C). Some would describe it as moderately chilly and breezy.
We are so excited to share our day with all of you, and also incredibly excited for the vendors we have hired to help capture our day in photo and video. We would appreciate you refraining from photos during the ceremony so when we look back on photos we can focus on the faces of the people celebrating with us and not their phones.
The venue is very accommodating for dietary restrictions and allergies, simply let us know when you respond to your invitation if you have any you would like us to be aware of!
