What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options?

Answer

Yes, chef's choice meals will be available for special diets. If you have a food restriction or allergy, please tell us when you RSVP.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, on Friday we will have a casual welcome BBQ for those in the area. It will be at the Friendship lodge we rented (right next to the tent).

Is transportation provided?

Answer

With so many of you staying at Waldenwoods, transportation is luckily not necessary! If you're staying at Courtyard Marriott there is Lyft, Howell Cab, and The Blue Car Taxi company available. If you're using Lyft, use code LETOURNEAULOVE for $10 towards your ride.

I'm staying at the Waldenwoods Sunshine Lodge, is there anything I need to know?

Answer

Each room in the Sunshine Lodge has it's own bathroom, towels, linens, and coffee pot. There is a community living room with one full-size refrigerator, although space will be limited. If you plan to bring your own food and drinks we recommend you bring a cooler. There is an on-site bar and grill called The Bellringer as well as many close restaurants nearby. The house is not air conditioned, but each room has a fan and should be cooler with it being right on the water.

I'm staying at the Waldenwoods Friendship Lodge, is there anything I need to know?

Answer

Each room in the Friendship Lodge has linens and towels. This house has community-style bathrooms, a community living room and one refrigerator. Fridge space will be limited so if you plan to bring food or drinks we recommend a cooler. There is an on-site bar and grill called the Bellringer as well as many more restaurants near by. The rooms are not air conditioned, but the community living room does have a small air-conditioning unit. Each room has a fan and should be cool with the windows open since it is right on the water.

What is there to do at Waldenwoods while I'm staying there?

Answer

One of the main reasons we picked Waldenwoods is because of how beautiful it is there! There is a lake for swimming, kayaks and paddle boards available to rent for free, beach volleyball, an inflatable water park, a pool, hot tub, hiking & biking trails, and tennis & basketball courts. There is also a golf course across the street called The Majestic at Lake Walden. We'll have plenty of yards games as well.
