Our favorite spot for breakfast or lunch right in the center of Northampton. Jimmy is a big fan of their cold brew and Clare recommends their seasonal matcha!
We haven't gotten a chance to eat here yet, but it comes highly recommended by locals for breakfast and lunch.
Another go-to brunch spot in downtown Northampton! Breakfast is served all day, but they also have a lunch menu.
A really awesome (but still casual) restaurant in nearby Easthampton that was nominated for a James Beard award a few years ago. Their menu changes frequently, but we'd recommend the burger and any special veggie dish they have available.
We haven't gotten a chance to eat here yet, but it's high on our list! Great reviews and a good option if you're looking for a cozy, upscale dinner spot.
A really cute Cajun / Louisiana-style restaurant in the heart of downtown. We went here for lunch when we first toured the venue and found it very charming.
A highly-recommended lunch and dinner spot for lovers of authentic Indian food!
A great dinner option for those staying in downtown Northampton!
A Northampton institution! The bar is located inside a vintage train tunnel from 1896 with original stone & brickwork.
A very ~vibey~ cocktail bar in a speakeasy setting. Tell the bartender what you usually like to drink and they'll make a custom cocktail just for you!
This shop is inside Thorne's Marketplace (see below), but we felt it deserved its own shoutout because it's just that good. Provisions has an awesome selection of wine & beer, as well as charcuterie fixins. We would definitely recommend stopping in -- especially if you share our love of natural wines!
This marketplace has a little bit of everything & is located in the middle of downtown Northampton. Stop in for dinner at one of the restaurants, stroll through the shops, or grab a sweet treat at the end of the day!
If you have the time (and a means of transportation), we would HIGHLY recommend taking a drive (about an hour) to Mass MoCA. It's one of our favorite art musuems and they feature both well-known and emerging artists, focusing on large-scale, immersive installations that you don't typically see in conventional museums.
