A Chicago staple late night jazz club that we always find ourselves returning to -- if you stay a day late, it's a great place to spend a Saturday night!
A favorite summertime activity of ours is going downtown to walk along the Chicago river. We love taking a pit stop at City Winery for a glass of rose!
The famous location of our first date! Good vibes, no thrills, great cocktails. If you find yourself venturing out to Wicker Park, this is a spot that's close to our hearts.
Our favorite burger in the city -- the order is: cheeseburger (house style) with fries dipped in garlic aioli!
The 606 (also known as the Bloomingdale Trail) is an elevated train track that was converted to trail for walking, biking, running, and seeing the city from above. It rolls right through our neighborhood and is one of our favorite places to walk Noli.
Described as a 'foodie mecca,' West Loop is where we typically end up when planning a celebratory dinner out. You can't go wrong with any of the restaurants along 'Restaurant Row,' or in the nearby Fulton Market area, but most will require you to have a reservation. A few favorites that might be easier to reserve: Little Goat Diner, Joe's Imports, and Green Street Meats.
