We kindly request Cocktail attire for our wedding celebration. Ladies, think summer night cocktail/midi/long dresses, jumpsuits, two piece sets. Gents can opt for suits or dress pants with a blazer- tie/bowtie optional. We want our guests to feel comfortable and at their best in whatever they choose to wear for our special day. Look good, feel good. FYI- The ceremony will take place outdoors on a beautiful lawn, followed by a tented reception so keep in mind your appropriate footwear! Short/block heels or wedges for ladies (no stilettos!), dress shoes for gentlemen. Early September in Vermont can bring cooler evening temperatures, so feel free to bring a light shawl or jacket to stay comfortable as the sun sets. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
It is our recommendation that you rent a car for the weekend to explore the area and get around easiest. The rental car lot is a short 3-5 minute walk across the street from baggage claim at the Albany airport so very easy to pick up & drop off! It is not a large airport so recommend you make your rental car arrangements when booking your travel. A secondary option would be to coordinate a pick up and drop off through a car/shuttle service. We have listed a few options on the "Lodging & Travel Recs" page. Please that you can arrange for an uber/lyft at Albany airport to Manchester VT but in the town of Manchester itself there is NO ride share apps at this time. If you will not be staying at the Equinox there will be shuttles that are available for pick up and drop off. Please be ready by 4:15 for pick up and the last shuttle leaving the Equinox will be at 11:30 to take guests home. There is an after party at the Falcon Bar at the Equinox, if you wish to stay for that and need transportation you will need to coordinate a cab. There are NO ubers/lyfts or ride share options at this time in Manchester, VT. The hotels provide a list of options for taxi services etc. and much is walkable but we do recommend renting a car if you would like to explore the town and it's beautiful surrounding area! We have listed a couple of options for transportation from airports below and in the "Lodging & Transportation" page as a starting point!
