This is a cute town on the Northshore, with some surf shops, cafes and if you have the chance you can rent paddle boards and paddle on the inlet and hopefully see some sea turtles!
A public beach that we like to paddle board and watch the sunset
A private natural reserve that you are able to zipline, bike, take an ATV tour and more to see the beautiful land and spots where famous movies were filmed such as Jurassic Park, George of the Jungle, 50 First Dates and more.
A short hike with views of the ocean and mountains and then after you can go to Lanikai beach!
If you're looking for a cafe that has outdoor seating and some yummy snacks and lattes, we stop at this Cafe after hikes and always enjoy the view and sunshine with a Honey Vanilla Latte and Banana Bread
If you are looking for a challenging but quick hike, this hike is straight stairs until you reach the top to overlook the ocean. If you get up early enough can catch the first glimpse of the sunrise and head to Island Brew Cafe afterwards for a reward of ice coffee and a pastry
Formed within a volcanic crater, Hanauma Bay is a beautiful beach and snorkel destination where you can see tons of fish and often sea turtles. Visitors must make reservations which open up 48 hours in advance at 7am and book up quickly.
Rent or bring your clubs and play a round at Pearl Country Club, Kapolei Golf Club, Ko Olina Golf Club, Pali Golf Course, or venture up to the North Shore at Turtle Bay. We (mostly Dan) have been spoiled with year-round golf with views of the ocean, palm trees, and lush mountain back drops.
