We’ll be celebrating an Aufruf prior to the wedding, and all are welcome to join. An Aufruf is a Jewish tradition in which the couple is called up to the Torah during Shabbat services to honor their upcoming marriage. It’s a meaningful and joyful moment, followed by a traditional synagogue service and a luncheon hosted by the Eksteins. We’d love for you to join us! P.S. No prior experience with a synagogue service is needed, guests are simply invited to attend, observe, and celebrate with us. P.P.S. Absolutely no pressure to come. Truly! We’re only up on the bima (the stage) for about three minutes, and the rest is a full Shabbat service (mostly in Hebrew). That said, if you’re curious, feeling festive, or just love us that much, we’d be thrilled to have you.

Join us Saturday, May 23rd from 2:00–4:00 PM for a casual meet-up at Minneapolis Cider Co. Stop by for a drink, some pickleball, or just to say hi. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. We sent a quick RSVP form via email, please check your inbox. No pressure if you can’t make it, but we’d love to see you!

We are calling this event Black Tie Very Optional.... Ladies: A midi or full-length dress is perfect, though if you’re someone who can truly pull off a great jumpsuit (not me), by all means-go for it. Gentlemen: A tux or a well-tailored suit is encouraged. Dark colors are ideal, but if you have a fun, beautifully tailored suit you’ve been waiting to wear… now’s the time.
PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 4:45PM!!!!! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on the rooftop, weather permitting, so please dress accordingly and consider sunglasses. The remainder of the evening will take place indoors. We trust everyone here knows how to dress for an inside event. Dinner will be served, followed by speeches from the people we love most, and then dancing, dessert, and whatever reliably happens when you gather good people, good music, and an open bar
