What will RSVP look like?

Answer

Once official invites are sent out, we will send out the RSVP link. There will be two separate invites: one for the ceremony/reception and one for the rehearsal dinner. If you are invited to both events, we need BOTH RSVPs completed, as they are for different aspects of the wedding! You must type in your name (or one of your family member's names to bring up your invites for the wedding festivities). Please also note that if you are not invited to both events, do not try to place yourself on an RSVP- the events are for different aspects of the wedding, meaning other people are needed for attendance. The RSVP link will be published on this website once the invites are sent out!

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

We are doing a white wedding, with lots of greenery and shades of green added in!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We want you to be dressed in cocktail;-hour attire, but be comfortable. Many photos will be taken at each event, so we want our friends and family to be well-dressed but ready to party! The ceremony will be held outside, so dress nicely and coolly, as the end of May is typically hot and humid. The reception will be indoors, with plenty of outdoor space, so please wear nice clothes that are also cool and comfortable. We highly recommend semi-formal dresses for the ladies, starched jeans, and button-ups for the men! Pastel colors would be greatly appreciated to keep the greens, blues, and whites out (red, purple, orange, yellow, pink, etc.). Although we are picky about colors, any color will be lovely for our friends and family; please be mindful! P.S. If you are coming to any events on FRIDAY, the day before the wedding, please wear black. Thanks!

What colors should I REFRAIN from wearing?

Answer

Please do not wear ANY shade of GREEN, as our wedding party will be wearing green. Please do not wear ANY shade of LIGHT BLUE, therefore our Something Blue Crew can stand out. (Dark blues are okay, no shades of dusty blue or light blue). And lastly, please do not wear ANY form or shade of WHITE, this is so the Bride and Groom can stand out in any and all photos taken. Our rule is if you have to ask if it’s a good color… it’s a no. And we mean it out of love so all pictures that people get back will look accordingly; and the people who need to stand out, can stand out! As this will be a Summer wedding, we highly recommend pastel colors for wedding guests to wear, although— any color rather than the wedding colors, will be lovely!

Can I take photos?

Answer

Yes! We will only have a hired photographer for pictures before the wedding and at the ceremony. As for the reception-- we will post QR Codes for everyone to take photos, selfies, and all of the above, and upload the pictures to the QR Codes!! This will need EVERYONE's involvement.

Are kids allowed to the wedding?

Answer

Yes!! We love kids, and we have several kids who we love dearly who are involved in the wedding. We kindly ask you to ensure your kids are on good behavior so every guest can have the best night, or please leave them with a babysitter!

Will there be transportation?

Answer

No, we will have parking at the venue for everyone. We highly encourage people to carpool with other guests to the reception for better and easier parking!

How late will the reception last?

Answer

The bridesmaids and groomsmen have an after-party planned for close family and friends who would like to join the newlyweds for an extended party! As for the reception, it will only last until around 10:30 p.m at the venue.

What is the Something Blue Crew?

Answer

These are girls we love very much and are extremely important family and friends to the bride and groom! The Something Blue Crew are ones we wanted to be included in the wedding but aren't necessarily considered bridesmaids. We ask guests NOT in the Something Blue Crew NOT to wear blue so this special group can stand out for their involvement in the wedding.

By the time of the wedding, we will have been together for three and a half years!

How did the young couple meet?

Answer

We met in high school; Mack was a senior, and Clara was a junior. We had a first-period Advanced Animal Science class together!

Where did the couple get engaged?

Answer

We got engaged in the Gardens of Capri, Italy!!

What are the bride and grooms favorite things to do together?

Answer

We love cooking new recipes and spending quality time together in the kitchen. We are always wanting to try new foods we see. We also have our two dogs, Rita and Cardi, that we love to play with and spoil. We also like to host get-togethers with our friends and family, as we love to be with our people, try new and fun games, and have quality time with all our friends and family! We always want to try new things, see new things, and eat fun foods since we are so blessed to get our lives started so young and grow up together!
