Our Story
Some love stories begin with a spark. Ours began with a baby shower.
Clara met Macabe’s sister, Meghan, in college, and they quickly became close friends. Over the years, Clara and Macabe heard about each other but never truly connected—until last summer, when Clara helped plan Meghan’s baby shower.
Macabe showed up to the shower (maybe for the cake, maybe to support his sister), struck up a conversation with Clara, and something clicked.
After the shower, they started talking more and quickly discovered how natural it felt to be together. From hiking and concerts to quiet nights in, their relationship quickly grew with every shared laugh and conversation.
After only a few of months of dating, Clara & Macabe had no doubts whom they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with. Macabe popped the question at a park near Clara's childhood home that they had gone on many walks at while dating.
Now, they can't wait to begin spending forever, together in July!
