Travel Note
You can travel to the island via boat or plane. There is a high-speed passenger ferry that is a 1-hour trip, and a traditional ferry for vehicles and passengers that takes 2 hours. If you intend to bring your car, make reservations ASAP, as they will be booked out months in advance. The high-speed ferries will also be in high demand during this time, so please get reservations as soon as you can. If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to reach out! The link will provide you with more information about the ferries.
Travel Note
The Steamship Authority is the main ferry service to the island. There are traditional ferries for cars and high speed as well. These ferries will leave out of Hyannis, MA.
Travel Note
Hyline Cruises is another ferry service out of Hyannis, MA. High Speed only.
Flight
There are flights into and out of Nantucket (ACK) from all over during the summer months: Hyannis, Boston, NYC, etc. Use Google Flights to find options if you are interested; there are affordable choices during the summer months due to the influx of traffic to the island. The airport is located 15 minutes from the Farm and right across the street from the Nantucket Inn. It is easy to get an Uber or cab from the airport to anywhere on the island. ACK is the airport code.
