FAQs

If you have any other questions which aren't listed here, please reach out to Clara at 615-290-1070 or Hayden 703-344-1946. If you have any questions remaining the week leading up to the wedding, please reach out to our day of coordinator, and great friend Lauren Kibler at 540-435-9597
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your name on the RSVP tab says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

If their name is on the RSVP tab, then yes! We love your kids and want them to be a part of the day. There is a kids room onsite at Whitehall, should any children need to lay down or unwind.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be a bus to shuttle everyone from Comfort Suites in Leesburg to Whitehall, and then back to the hotel once the night comes to an end. For more information, visit the Travel tab on the website. There will also be detailed information sheets in each booked hotel room at Comfort Suites.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Whitehall has offered to host our ceremony indoors, in case of rain. If the weather starts to turn bad, we will have our ceremony and reception indoors at Whitehall.

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP. We want to accommodate to everyone's needs, and food is definitely an important part of the night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire! The ceremony will be outside under some large trees in the shade, but still expect the temperature to be warm, as it is July in Virginia. Cocktail hour and reception will flow between indoors and outdoors, and the temperature should be more comfortable by the evening.

Question

What about cell phones and cameras?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony. Please refrain from using your phone, camera, or any other electronic devices during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all of the important moments, and we promise to share her work after our big day. Once we move into the reception, feel free to take pictures, use your phones, and snap some selfies with our snapchat filter.

Question

Can I leave my car at Whitehall over night?

Answer

If your plans don't work out, and you end up stuck with your car at Whitehall, you may it leave it over night and your car will not be towed. Please be sure to pick up your car on Monday, July 29th by 12-noon.
