Flight
The Telluride/Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) to Telluride is a scenic 65 miles away from Telluride. If you are flying into Montrose Airport (which we recommend due to its proximity and reliability), you should arrange for a shuttle with Telluride Express or Mountain Limo. They have door to door, shared-ride and private accommodations for you to choose from. There are also car rental services on site at the airport, but please note that parking is limited in Telluride and there are often fees to park. Cars are not necessary, as we will be providing transportation to wedding events and there is a free gondola that runs between the Town of Telluride (very small, walkable town) and Mountain Village.
Flight
Grand Junction to Telluride – 2 1/2 hour drive If you are flying into Grand Junction Airport, we recommend that you arrange for a shuttle with Telluride Express or rent a car (typically more affordable option). Please note that there is a minimum ridership for shuttles from Grand Junction, so make sure that you evaluate the ground transportation costs along with the cost of flights. They have door to door, shared-ride and private accommodations for you to choose from. Fun fact - Clara's dad was born and raised in Grand Junction. :)
Flight
Denver to Telluride - 6 1/2 hour drive If you are flying into the Denver Airport, we recommend that you arrange for a rental a car. Enjoy the drive – it’s beautiful. Please note that flying into Denver, there is risk of pass closure on your way in or out due to winter weather. That said, we understand this is the most affordable option, and we can't control the weather! Would make for a good story. :)
