Walker Art Center
We have some really excellent art museums here, this is one of them. It also has a lovely sculpture garden that will almost assuredly be covered in a thick sheet of snow.
Minneapolis Institute of Art
This is another art museum; it's also pretty solid.
Target Center
The Timberwolves, our professional basketball team, play here. The Lynx, our professional basketball team that actually wins things, also plays here. It's conveniently located downtown and connects to the skyway.
Xcel Energy Center
If you're mystified at the concept of hockey, you can check it out here, they also frequently have large concerts. You have to cross over the river into St. Paul, but it's not too far.
1st Ave Music Venue
Probably the most recognizable music venue in the Twin Cities, it's also located downtown but not skyway accessible.
Keys At The Foshay
We end up eating here way too often, it's also conveniently located on the ground floor of the W.
Mall of America®
It's a really big mall, you can walk around it and stuff.
Paisley Park
If you're a Prince fan this is a must-see! I'ts located about 30 minutes outside of Minneapolis and offer guided tours.
