This is one of our favorite places for breakfast. They've got great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and other pastries and treats! They're only open until around 2:00pm, so be sure to stop in for breakfast or brunch.
Mays Sandwich Shop
Family-owned by a few of the church members at West Lawn UMC, Mays never disappoints when you're in the mood for a good hoagie and friendly service.
Reading Pagoda
We went here on our first date! Even though the building itself is currently closed to visitors, the view from the top makes it worth it!
Reading Public Museum
Home to the Neag Planetarium, this museum also has history, fine arts, arms and armor, and ancient civilization gallery spaces. You're guaranteed a fun day, no matter what age.
Skateaway
We went here on one of our first dates and had a great time! Nothing beats a classic date or family trip to Skateaway!
Slick Willy's Karts & Eats
If you're looking for some fun while in Reading, an oldie but a goodie is Slick Willy's, located inside of The Works.
Taste of Crepes
Located in West Reading, Taste of Crepes serves exactly what's name suggests: crepes! Savory or sweet, you won't want to pass up stopping by for a bite. Heads up: the place is small so it can fill up super fast!
The Berkshire Family Restaurant
This is another great spot for great food! They've got amazing breakfast food, but plenty of options for everyone during the lunch and dinner hours. Clara worked here for a little over two years and only has great things to say about the place. Lovely staff and yummy food!
West Lawn United Methodist Church
Looking for a church service to go to on Sunday morning after the wedding? Not only is this the church where Scotty and Clara are getting married, but it's the home church for the Weber family. They've got a traditional service at 8am or 11am, and a contemporary service at 9:30am. Don't forget to grab some coffee and donuts while you're there, too!
