Maid of Honor
My best friend and sister, Lauren has been my ride or die since day one. She is a fierce and loyal friend and sister that would move mountains for me. We both tend to end up crying from laughter when we get together and it is the best feeling in the world. She is my greatest confidant and rises to all of life's challenges with gusto and moxy. I am honored to have her stand by my side on this day and every day.
Bridesmaid
Allison and I have known each other since 6th grade and I don't know what I would do with out her love and support in my life! The best part about being with Allison is the ability to turn back into silly/goofy kids without the fear of judgment and play without reservation. She loves with her whole heart and has been there for through all of life's struggles and accomplishments. It is only fitting that she stands by my side during the start of this next chapter.
Bridesmaid
Lizzie and I met our freshmen year at HPU and quickly became best friends! After being matched by our 1st year rooming survey and missing out on it, we ended up living together for the next three years of college. Nights full of shenanigans, Law and Order SVU, and our comfy beds when we didn't want to go out and party made us like sisters.
Bridesmaid
Sophia and I met at a party Chaz and the Toccatatones were hosting at HPU our freshmen year. Both slightly inebriated we found the hammock in the backyard and had our first of many "heart-to-hearts" about how much I liked Chaz. After joining Phi Mu we became even closer and she was my "wifey" <3 The level of joy and excitement she brings to loving me and our relationship is out of this world.
Bridesmaid
Morgan and I met my freshmen year of high school when I auditioned to be a member of the BHS Color Guard/Marching Band. Our friendship grew over high school and college with us even getting "married" one year in a mock ceremony (haha what can I say, all the kids were doing it!). I love and appreciate her fierce friendship and loyalty. We both live life boldly and support the crap out of each other. After catching the bouquet at her wedding I am so ecstatic to have her stand by my side at my own!
Bridesmaid
Jordan and I met after she was in A Streetcar Named Desire with Chaz. I introduced her to Coles (Chaz's Best Friend and Best Man) at a surprise birthday for Chaz. Both confided in me that the other was "really cute" and I encouraged them to go out on date and see where things went. Two years later they are living together and the most adorable couple. They are our closest couple friends and we will travel everywhere and anywhere searching for adventures with them! Jordan has become a ride or die and a best friend and I can't imagine my life without her.
Master Electrician
Matt and I met our freshmen year at HPU, both theatre majors living in Belk. I remember so vividly us walking across campus to our first theatre party we were invited to and talking about how we would run the department out senior year. We have had so many amazing times together: D.C. Chillin with Team Victory, Time Warp Festival in New York, Theatre Reunion in Asheville, and all the rides and late night painting sessions. I wouldn't trade our friendship for the world. He is an irreplaceable part of our life and a gem for helping light up our big night!
Best Man
Coles Wilton Prince (the 1st) and I have known each other since my freshman year in high school. I was invited to a homecoming picture party at his house and he's basically been the "Goose" to my "Mav" ever since. Throughout numerous theatre productions, teenage misadventures, and shenanigans Coles has been a steadfast friend, boon companion and all around good dude. He's the kind of man that you can bring home to charm your parents into a false since of security with your friend group, but is also down for a 2am Waffle House run. A rare and commendable combination indeed -the guy is a real Prince, ya know?
Groomsman
The original Mini-Me. James Noah Duffy is a mischievous lad of good stock and impeccable chromosomes. He has excellent taste in art, culture, underground music you haven't heard of yet, and parents. My brother is my oldest, closest, and dearest friend. Currently a wearer of many hats, Noah recently finished a set of studio art and theatre degrees at UAB in Birmingham while working, acting, scenic painting, and creating his own portfolio and collaborating with some of the Birmingham scenes finest cross cultural artists, designers, and the Mayor's office. Really. The man will explain early American political trends while bumping independent trap music and designing a triptych based on Celtic lore. Plus, he'll probably the 2nd best looking guy up there (but don't tell him that.)
Groomsman
Caleb Michael Redslob and I met his freshman year of college at High Point University when he was auditioning for the Toccatatones (HPU's PREMIERE acappella group) This kid shows up and belts out the first 45 seconds of "Live in Living Color" and basically has lived accordingly since ever since. We went on to be roommates for the next two years at the Toccottage, performed, created, and plotted domination together countless times. But there were even more sets played to our empty basement, ridiculous sketches, musical adaptions, and cross genre covers that were lost to the walls of that bohemian collegiate sanctum. Proud proponent of ideas both brilliant and mindbogglingly preposterous. A fierce friend, creative maverick, problem solver, and purveyor of both snarky comments and wisdom.
Groomsman
Madison Reginald Jordan hails from the exotic plains of Olathe, Kansas, but he's put some miles on since. We met his freshman year when he joined the Toccatatones and we've been brothers ever since. Madison, Caleb, and I were roommates at "the Toccottage." He was a PBR-drinking hipster before it was cool and has the ironic polaroids to prove it. He recently evolved into his most impressive form yet, managing a tattoo shop and collection of cool ephemera in Brooklyn. Sweet angel Madison's cherubic voice is matched by his kind disposition, childlike wonder, his majestic mustache, and happening haberdashery. Bring him home to mom, she'll love him! He might debate your dad about some obscure Kansas City sports trivia though, so be warned. Let the man have it, you wont regret it.
Groomsman
I picked up this scruffy looking nerf-herder back in my first days at High Point University. A fellow Theatre/Music/Toccatatones alum and well-rounded weirdo who generally comes impeccably dressed. Cody brings not only years of theatre crafts experience to the table, but also a near encyclopedic knowledge of Harry Potter spells, Pokémon trivia, more than a few incantations, and a slight lilt towards shenanigans. A perfect addition to your tea party as long as magic and mischief is welcome and you don't mind everyone looking at you when you make him laugh. He's a good witch, but it's best to keep him on your side.
Groomsman
Mr. Ho is a tall cool glass of mystique from Chaz's high school days with a penchant for the vintage-cult-cool and a history of impromptu movie marathons. The captain of his own ship and bonafide boon-companion for late night life quandaries , debate about sci-fi philosophy, or a day at the museum. We once founded a collective that took Alex's romantic adventures and turned them into musical gold in the form of tight harmonies in the niche neo blues/ ukulele doowop style. No one asked for it, but he was happy to oblige. He also has the best toys at his house. He may have taught that Dos Equis guy a thing or two.
