Matron of Honor
The childhood friend that brought me to Christ. We met as little middle schoolers that would share bottomless fries at Red Robin after school and hang out for hours at the public library. She loves plant containers that have faces on them and thrives when she gets to spend time outdoors. More than a decade has passed since we met and she remains my close friend that has stuck with me through everything. I am so thankful to have such a thoughtful, humble, whimsical, wise and adventurous sister in Christ. At the end of the day, there’s no one that knows me quite like she does.
Best Man
Where to start with Mike... I actually don't remember the specifics of how we met freshman year, but I know very well the ways I've been blessed by him since then. He's mediated my reconciliation with an old friend. He's posed with me on top of my car in a Taco Bell parking lot. He's hyped me up as I announced my personal development from "Warner" to "Warner 2.0". This past season of my life was filled with adventures with Mike, and I can't ask for a better brother in Christ to stand with me as I step into this next season.
Bridesmaid
I first met Tiffany (Lingling) freshman year when we were paired together as random roommates. She is the sentimental and creative one. She knows how to romanticize her life and care for people deeply. In college, it was impossible to be on time when going to class with her because she would always want to stop and catch up with everyone she ran into along the way. She is the social butterfly that loves to give small gifts to people without any occasion, enjoys crying when watching sad animes, and talks in her sleep enthusiastically about omelettes.
Groomsman
Three months after we met, Jeff and I lived together in a tiny room of a shambly apartment during the summer after my freshman year. Even though we barely knew each other, he still cooked for me, helped me through a breakup, and gave me great adulting advice on careers and stocks. Taking the prize of “possibly more introverted than Michael”, Jeff has a way of having fun with you while simultaneously being calm and collected. I thank God for giving me Jeff as the big brother I never had, so that I could be the mischievous little brother I was born to be.
Bridesmaid
My pharmacy friend from Day 1. We met at our freshman pharmacy orientation when she first said “hi” to me. We quickly bonded over both being SoCal girls that somehow ended up in New Jersey. I can’t imagine getting through college without her as my study buddy and moral support. We often joke that it’s a miracle we’re friends since we are complete opposites. We never agree on who our favorite characters are in TV shows or movies. She’s the one I always want to go out to karaoke with, eat spicy ramen late at night with, and send all my cat videos to. She is smart, sassy, generous, kind, loyal and unapologetically herself.
Groomsman
If you meet Matt, you’ll instantly feel how warm and welcoming he is, just like I did when Jeff introduced us in 2015. Although we started as mutual friends, Matt and I grew to be close friends on our own as we played games (when Jeff was busy) and by taking the time to talk regularly despite the 3-hour time difference. I can’t count the times that he’s made me laugh so hard that I cry and gasp for air! He’s extremely loyal and I admire his positive outlook on almost any situation. I pray that everyone would be so blessed to have a friend like Matt in their life, and I’m glad that he can join me for this day!
Officiant
In the beginning... was Pastor Che and a copy of Meaning Of Marriage that he bequeathed to Michael with a personal note of encouragement. He is our continual advisor, advocate, and friend whom we are blessed to have officiate our marriage!
